This poster was created for a special Brooklyn edition of SOUND & VISION, the Jersey City-based dance party I founded and developed into a widely recognized brand with a loyal following. With that established identity in place, I used this iteration as an opportunity to push the typography of the event title in a more experimental direction by inverting and rotating the type components. An asymmetrical layout, angular type treatments, and layered paint splatter elements contribute to a dynamic, off-balance composition that echoes the movement and intensity of the long celebrated event.
